Terms & Conditions of Use

This website is the e-shop of the physical store Pet and Vet by Zoo-Tehnia, located at 73 Grammou & Gravia and the 1st km of the E.O. Argos Orestiko - Kastoria, and A.F.M. 105258410 of the D.O.Y. Kastoria. The user [hereinafter also referred to as 'Customer', 'Consumer'] is requested to carefully read these terms and conditions of use and transaction, as browsing and purchasing products from the store implies the automatic and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions. Our aim is to ensure the smoothest possible operation of commercial relations with our consumers, so please ensure that you agree to what is set out below.

The User, before making any transaction, may browse anonymously on the website in order to be informed about the products of the Company and the terms and conditions of remote transactions. The Merchant provides, among others, the following information about the products sold: a) the main characteristics of the goods, b) the identity of the supplier, c) the price of the goods, the value of the VAT. and any other charges, as well as all additional charges for shipping, delivery or postage and any other charges or, where such charges cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, the fact that such additional charges may be required; d) the methods and conditions of payment, the manner, means and time of delivery of the order; and e) the terms, conditions, time limit and procedures for exercising the right of withdrawal by the Customer; and f) the terms, conditions, time limit and procedures for exercising the right of withdrawal by the Customer.

If the Customer agrees with the terms of use and wishes to proceed with a transaction, he/she must follow a procedure to verify that he/she is indeed a person with a valid e-mail address, provide his/her details and a delivery address for the order and, depending on the automatic payment method he/she wishes to use, provide the information necessary to complete the transaction, following the instructions that will be given to him/her. Unsuccessful calibration, provision of incomplete or obviously false data, as well as any violation or attempted violation of the law (and therefore of the security of the website), will result in the termination of use, as soon as this is noticed by the Company. The online shop operates under the condition that the Merchant deals with adults and that the use is legal. The Merchant cannot verify the truth of the data submitted to it, for the use of which the trader bears full responsibility, even if the user's details are not identical with his/her e-mail address or payment details. The methods and means of payment and the cross-checking of the data submitted are chosen by the transactor and each transaction is carried out by the entity that processes it (e.g.: bank, paypal), under his responsibility and supervision. The responsibility of the Merchant is limited to the verification of the completion of the transaction and the execution of the order, based on what is defined for each item sold.

For the needs of trade, the Merchant uses and reproduces trademarks, distinctive titles, images and texts, which are not copied. All audiovisual material, photographs, drawings, designs, texts, as well as the domain name are protected in accordance with the provisions of copyright, trademarks, distinctive signs and unfair competition, in conjunction with European legislation and international conventions. Any unauthorised use thereof is expressly excluded and will be subject to the penalties provided for.

The company is committed to the information it provides with regard to its accuracy, completeness and validity for the purpose of the transactions, without prejudice to unintentional typing or spelling errors during the process of entering the data on the website.

Information and data submitted to the Merchant by the Customer will be subject to the management provided by law and, if it concerns a commercial purpose, with the prior permission of the User. The Company provides the Client with the possibility to choose whether they wish to be informed of new products and promotions by sending informative messages to their e-mail address.

The Merchant informs before the completion of the transaction about the availability and the expected delivery time. After the completion of this, the customer receives a confirmation email of the order with its details. Subsequently, the orders are assigned for delivery to a partner courier company no later than 48 hours, at which time a confirmation email with the details of the shipment is sent. The company is not responsible for any delays that may occur due to force majeure or that are not attributable to its fault, e.g. severe weather conditions, workload of courier companies due to COVID-19, etc.

The company is not liable for any civil or criminal liability or compensation for any damage or loss resulting from the cancellation of orders, non-execution or delayed execution of orders for any reason whatsoever. The same applies in the event of any damage that the visitor may suffer by the operation or use or not of the website, or any interference by third parties in products and / or information available through it, from a breach of the security systems and programs used. It should be noted that the company makes every effort to ensure the safety of consumers browsing its website.

The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the order, after prior submission of a request through the corresponding form on our website. (KENO LING) and written notification by email to the following address info@petandvet.gr. The Customer is obliged to return the products within fourteen (14) calendar days from the day on which he/she declared his/her withdrawal. In this case, he may request a refund or proceed to a new order of equal value. To this end, the trader must return the product to the Merchant at his own expense. The returned product must be in perfect condition, as it was before its sale, in its complete original packaging (with all the contents of the original packaging), without any special markings removed, without any indication of use or destruction of the product and accompanied by the original purchase document (retail receipt, invoice), as well as by the above completed withdrawal form. In the case of charging the Customer by credit card, the Merchant, if the price has been collected by the Bank, will be obliged to inform the Bank of the cancellation of the transaction and the Bank will take any action required. Following such notification, the Merchant shall bear no responsibility for the time and manner of execution of the counterbilling, which is regulated by the contract concluded between the issuing bank and the Customer. The return of the product can also take place through our physical store, in which case, the refund to the Customer will be made in the same way that he/she chose when purchasing the product. The refund due to withdrawal to the Customer will be made no later than within fourteen (14) working days from the time the Merchant is demonstrably aware of the withdrawal and will not include the shipping costs of the original order, in no case the costs of returning the product.

ANTIPARASITIC SPRAYS, COLLARS AND FROZEN ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.  In the event that an error has occurred during the execution of the order, the trader has the right to request a new shipment of the product ordered or a refund. It is obvious that the product must be in the aforementioned excellent condition to be eligible for return, the costs of which are borne by Pet & Vet by Zo-Technique.

 

The Company, in full compliance with national and European legislation, does not engage in the advertising and marketing of veterinary medicinal products subject to veterinary prescription. Our physical store has received the necessary veterinary products marketing licenses, from where you can obtain the products for which you have the appropriate prescription. The company cannot promise the suitability of its goods for a specific purpose, as this is at the discretion of the user, nor can it guarantee the availability of the products listed through the online store. It undertakes, however, to inform the end customer as soon as possible of the impossibility of service. The basic information of the products is provided accompanied by the corresponding photographs, which may differ from reality.

The company reserves the right to modify or renew the terms of use and transaction conditions unilaterally and without notice to users, as well as to suspend or terminate the operation of this website. In any case, the terms and conditions will be fully accessible to the consumer public and the modifications will take effect from the moment of their publication, without affecting previous transactions. Users are responsible for periodically checking the terms of use and their consent to them. In addition, the execution of transactions shall be presumed to constitute capacity to act.

For any issue not expressly mentioned in the above terms, the provisions of national and European legislation apply. Transactions carried out through the e-shop are governed by the applicable legal framework for e-commerce, distance selling and consumer protection (Law 2251/1994).
